Disclaimer: I do not own Gundam Wing *I tried I honestly tried but it didn't work (sobs)* oh well as usual I will not be a perfectionist and fix every teeny tiny little thing in my story *Like my sister and a lot of people say… "If you want something done right do it yourself"*. Oh dear look at the time I will run for my life now because the terror of my sister has entered the room. This leaves you to read my again funny *serious* story.

Note: hmm…what to say. Oh yah this story is now following it's own plot line and has no historical value what so ever. Also a few very certain characters do not exist in this story . For reasons all to my own *looks at the ropes with no people hanging from them* Oh no they escaped *runs after them* Bye!!!

Gundam Zero: Explanations and Ideas

by Saria Barton

    Heero was in utter shock.

"You're Trowa's…sister," he said. She smiled and turned to the unknown Gundam

"Yes I am even though we haven't seen or spoken to each other in about four years," she replied still staring at the Gundam.

"Then why are you with Oz?" he questioned still unbelieving.

"Why, to get revenge of course," she said as though this was obvious.

"Revenge… on who?" Heero asked. Saria sighed and turned to him her eyes burning with pain and anger. He realized immediately he had touched a sensitive spot but he held his ground.
Saria's eyes softened slightly then continued,

"The Earth Sphere Alliance… for killing my parents," she answered, "It was ten years ago and I was five the Alliance was only beginning to gain power. They had destroyed the Peacecrafts and assassinated the great peacemaker Heero Yuy. But no it wasn't enough they had destroy every point of influence in the colonies including my father. They bombed the embassy he was at while on Earth and killed him and my Mother. We had been staying with family at the time. But they also passed away for unknown reasons." She took a deep breath before continuing, "We were cast out into the streets living by the whim of people. Eventually the Barton family found us. The family was very against Oz and the Alliance. So to hopefully have Trowa making chaos with his Gundam and I being the inside voice to warn him of trouble and Oz's plans Leia Barton arranged for Treize Khushranada and I to meet and me to get deep within Oz's ranks. What Leia didn't expect was for one Treize to make me his heir and two for me to turn on her. Of course I didn't tell anyone of Operation Meteor but as far as I was concerned the Barton family was on their own because I had my own agenda and it was Revenge. I carefully hid my self within Oz, keeping my code name of Saria to hide my identity and at the same time I put myself through the same training my brother went through. Making myself equal to him in skill in power I was ready for the Gundam threat. And on April 7 195 A.C Operation Meteor was put in affect. Later we took care of the alliance now revenge for filled I am following the path his Excellency has chosen just like every other soldier here," she finished her little tale and turning away from Heero she blushed. "Why did I tell him all that?" she said to her self then she walked to the Gundam and leaned against it.

Heero stared at her opened mouth

"And what is this?" he asked pointing to the Gundam. She looked at the machine fondly.

"Oh this," she said, "This is Polaris…my Gundam," she said. Heero's mouth dropped. Saria's grin turned to a smirk and she walked over to him. "Are you surprised or is that habit?" she asked. Shutting his mouth he watched as she began to giggle slightly. Then she began to laugh. Heero allowed himself a smile

"I should kill her now while her guard is down…it would be so easy she's defenseless." He looked her cheeks rosy from laughing and her eyes full of life. "Then what's holding me back?" Heero asked himself as Saria calmed herself and spoke to him.

" I'm afraid our little chat will have to end now because I'm supposed to be taking you to your cell…sorry I have no choice." He looked at her and saw her reluctance and an idea struck him. He would use her to his own means; he would escape and get both Gundams and when she out lived her usefulness…he would kill her. He forced his expression into a pleading look and spoke to her.

"Yes you do have a choice… you can come with me," she looked at him as though had lost his mind. He continued "You have a Gundam escape with me we can leave this place…together," he said as convincingly as possible.
Saria looked at him

"How dumb does he think I am" she thought and smirked at him. "Sure," she said watching him look pleased "When Hell freezes over," his looked changed to surprise immediately.

"Wha…What?" he said. She smiled this time sadly. "Look I'd have to give you an A for effort but if you really think I would fall for something like that you really underestimated me," he look disappointed

"Can't blame me for trying can you?" He asked and she shook her head

"No I guess not," she said and took out her gun, which was specifically made for hand. He looked at it

"May I see that?" he asked. She shook her head.

"Would I let a wolf examine his teeth with me next to it?" she asked Heero and he shook his head. "No I know I wouldn't," she just stared at him for a moment when a wall panel began to beep. She sighed and walked to it "Lady Barton here." The screen flared to life and Lady Une appeared on the screen. Saria could tell just from the out fit and the fact that she was wearing glasses that this was the butt kicking stern Lady Une not the peace loving representative one. "Uhoh I'm in for it," she thought but much to her surprise Lady Une smiled at her.

"Saria when you're done with your duties please meet me in the lounge," that was all she said. "How odd for a second there I thought I had done something wrong...oh wait I did…I fired two of her hand picked officers in one hour…oh dear I'm in for it when she finds out,"

    Heero looked at Saria

"Was that guy who hit you one of them?" he asked. When she nodded he continued. "Then you shouldn't worry because he got what he deserved." Heero watched, as she looked surprised.

"You mean that?" she asked looking at him questioningly. He nodded and she blushed. "Thank you that was very sweet." Heero was absolutely confused.

"Why was I nice to her?" he questioned himself, "I should be focusing on escape?" Suddenly her voice cut through his thoughts like a knife. "Let's go." He turned to her and saw that once again her weapon was drawn and was pointed at him.

"Is that really necessary," he said scowling not at her but at the weapon in her hand.

"Standard procedure," she said simply shrugging off the scowl. She walked to the lift she had first came through and gestured with his gun for him to enter. He entered rather reluctantly. As Saria typed in the necessary codes to activate the lift Heero couldn't help but stare at her.

"How could anyone that beautiful work for Oz?" he thought to himself. Then with a shake of his head he banished the thought, as though afraid she would read his mind. The lift activated and Saria leaned against the wall her gun aimed at Heero but she didn't give it much thought. "Now's my chance she's distracted. I can easily get the gun from her and get the heck out of here."

Saria looked up from her thoughts and saw Heero staring at her. Her heart skipped a beat as he caught her gaze and held it. In that moment his eyes softened and she saw for the first time that his coldness was only the outer shell to kindness and heart. But in almost the same instant that it had appeared it was gone only to be replaced with his cold emotionless stare. Saria let her head drop from his gaze. She couldn't stand to look into his cold blue eyes any longer. Se had always believed that the eyes were the gateway to ones soul.

"What am I thinking?" she thought shaking her head. He's a Gundam pilot, the enemy. I shouldn't be so kind," she thought mentally beating herself up. Saria then took out her locket. It used to be her mother's and was all she had left. Opening it she looked at the small picture inside. It was of her parents, brother and herself. She smiled slightly when this picture had been taken she was only three and her brother four. She had been so happy then without worry or care. She glanced up at her prisoner and noticed he was staring at her again. She held the locket out for him to see.

"It's a picture of my family before my parents were killed." She said then after a second more of thought walked over to him and handed the small object to him.

"Here take a look, she said handing the object to him. As she handed the locket to him their hands touched. In that second time seemed to freeze. He watched as she quickly left the locket in his hand and walked to the other side of the lift. Heero looked at the picture in the locket and much to his surprise he felt himself smile. Trowa looked nothing like he did now. This Trowa had innocence and life not emotionless like he was now.

"How old were you when this picture was taken?" he asked quietly. Saria looked up almost surprised then she shook her head.

"Sorry I'm still a little tired because of some headless chickens and a stupid lieutenant who insisted in having me woken up." He gave her a strange look. "Don't ask," she smacked her head. "Oh yah I was three and Trowa was four." He handed the locket back to her.

"Thanks for letting me see it," he said.

"Anytime," she replied. He watched as Saria lost herself in thought.

"I have to get myself out of here no matter what and I won't let any girl stop me," he thought but he seemed to be wrong. He couldn't bring himself to even try to escape and he was quickly running out of time in a matter of minutes. He would be in a cell and no way to escape, but then why wasn't he doing anything about it. He was just standing like an idiot staring at a girl. "What would they others say." he thought. Suddenly they lift stopped and a loud klaxon went off.

Saria walked to the wall panel and activated it when the lift started up again she ignored the klaxons as if nothing was happening. She looked up and noticed her prisoner was staring at her disbelief written all over his face.

"What, it's just a drill nothing to worry about," she said as Heero calmed down.

"Geez if I didn't know any better I'd say you were worried or something" she said smiling at him mockingly. Heero blushed and Saria began to think. "I thought I was the only one that could blush I wonder what it means. The lift opened signifying that they had reached their destination. She raised her gun at him and motioned with it for him to step out. He did rather reluctantly. She then walked to his cell and quickly typed in the codes for the door to open when it did she motioned again for Heero to move.

Heero decided right then and there to act on his thoughts. He grabbed her arm and dragged her to him. He wrapped her arm around her waist and carefully grabbed her chin. He brought her lips to his. Her eyes widened and she tried to push him away, but he just deepened the kiss. Eventually she accepted where she was and let him kiss her. He broke the kiss and she quickly got out of his embrace. Blushing brightly she quickly fled the scene only stopping to shut the door leaving Heero to question what the Hell he just did.
